Pumpty Dumpty II

Georgia Strait Alliance is pleased to be able to partner with the Association of Mayne Island Boaters (AMIB) to help bring vessel sewage pump-out options to the Southern Gulf Island Boating community and visiting boats.   The Pumpty Dumpty II is a mobile service operating out of Mayne Island.

Friends of Silva Bay (FOSB)

This group's membership includes neighbourhood residents, boat owners, marina operators and other marine-related business owners, environmental advocates, recreationalists and others.

Friends of Silva Bay's vision is a sustainable Silva Bay with clean water, healthy surrounds, and a vibrant maritime community. Their mission is to cooperatively promote clean waters, healthy habitat and sustainable activities in and around Silva Bay and its watershed.

Current projects include a boater outreach program, development of an overal mooring and achoring plan for the bay, eelgass mapping and a monthly bird count.

Friends of Silva Bay meet every other month; everyone is welcome. Join a group, propose a new one, or volunteer.
